Cedric Banks is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Heart of Jesus International Deliverance Church, located in Detroit, MI. He is a regional prophet and a man of integrity, strength, and boldness.
Cedric Banks lives to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to bring change to the City of Detroit and its residents. He has been connecting Detroit residents with various resources that will help to provide stable households, viable communities, economic empowerment and independence since 2009 when he started the Detroit City Revival. He is known for his Marriage, Leadership, and Prophetic Conferences, also for the company of prophets he coordinates for Presbytery, and the job fairs he holds for the community.
Cedric Banks is also founder of The Heart of Jesus Community Development Center where he provides career training and job development programs. Through his Community Development Center there are also family programs which include marriage/relationship counseling and family conflict resolution, youth mentoring, food bank, and much more. Moreover, he is the founder of The Heart of Jesus Prophetic Network for churches and ministries where he mentors the ecclesia on protocol, coordinating biblical guidelines on the ministry of the Prophet and the prophetic, and establishing ministerial organization.
Cedric Banks is the host of "The Community Shall Be Restored" television show which focuses on regional and national leaders who are making a positive impact on the city of Detroit; those who have won the hearts of many for their great efforts to bring forth change and restoration to our communities. This show highlights the knowledge and vision of these community leaders and lets everyone know what resources are available through their respective organizations as well as their contributions to this great city.
Note: A portion of the above biography was published in the Michigan Chronicle as part of their 2012 Pastor's Salute. Cedric Banks was honored by the Michigan Chronicle as one of the top thirty Pastors in Southeast Michigan and Ohio out of over 500 candidates.
